Plaga Zombie: Mutant Zone

Plaga Zombie: Mutant Zone is a sequel to the 1997 no-budget zombie film from Argentina of the same name. This sequel follows the three main characters, Bill Johnson (who looks like Legolas), John West and Max Giggs, three misfits stuck in the middle of a zombie apocalypse and trying madly to survive, although all three of them have their dark secrets to keep.

The movie, like the first one, is a no-budget splatterfest, although this one is much more polished. Bill Johnson is the more leader-type, while John West and Max Giggs are ridiculously over-the-top, particularly Max who ends up butchering a John West fan in a jealous rage. John West himself is hilarious, a big wrestler with a superhero voice. The makeup effects are very well made, cheap but effective, particularly at the ending. The best gag comes in when a zombie spews diarrhea into Bill Johnson’s face. This is a fun movie, hilarious and violent, and must be seen by all.
