House On The Edge Of The Park

Ruggero Deodato directs this sleazy little picture featuring David Hess, cinema’s favorite rapist, as a guy who takes over a party when he feels the people around him are treating him and his buddy, Giovanni Lombardo Radice, like dirt. And so, Hess starts hitting the men, raping the women, and basically acting like an asshole until it’s finally revealed that the party was a complete setup to get him over a young lady he had raped in the past. The plot is very simple, but this film is very minimalistic, a very hard film to watch yet at the same time surprisingly entertaining, and very well acted. Particularly good is Lorraine De Selle, who you might also recognize from Cannibal Ferox and a couple of Emmanuelle films. The ending is very satisfactory, with asshole Hess taking it in the balls, to put it lightly. A filthy but memorable film.
