Neon Nights

One of the best pornographic films ever made, made during an era when the women looked real, they were shot on film and had genuine talent behind it. It deals with young Sandy (played by Lysa Thatcher) who is fantasizing about having sex with her mother’s lover, played by the always sleazy Jamie Gillis. When he does have sex with her, her mother breaks into the room (cue the stolen Psycho theme). Ashamed, she runs away from home to go to her sister’s home. On the road, she gets into a whole series of sexual misadventures. My favorite tho, is the first, involving a magician who has some sort of psychotronic levitation sex that really gave me the giggles.
The film co-stars Veronica Hart, one of the most beautiful porn stars of all time, who has the best lines in the film. I’m also shocked by how well this film was edited, particularly during that first sexual scene between Gillis and Sandy’s mother, which intercuts with Sandy masturbating in the bathroom listening in. Very well done by any standard. Boy, they sure don’t make them like they used to!
