This movie is legendary among fans of bad movies, and with good reason. This is a film in the least literal of meanings, with some horrible acting, directing, hell everything about this is bad. Hell it’s so bad that it’s genuinely entertaining, and it’s gained a cult following with a good reason. It’s an early 90’s movie but everyone acts like it’s the 80’s, and the main baddie is so ridiculously cliched she makes Angela from Night Of The Demons looks like Michael Jackson’s deformed inbred sister. And those goblins, damn. I nearly exploded laughing when I realized they were designed by Black Emanuelle herself, Laura Gemser. How did she go from making softcore pornography to making creatures that look like senile ewoks? Plus the masks they’re wearing make the ones in TMNT3 look like something out of George Lucas. Anyway, it’s a terrible film, but also very entertaining, so it’s great for a party and a ton of beers.
